PR/Marketing Representative

Heyo! I’m Trista, the PR & Marketing Representative for Meadowlark Performing Arts.

As a kid, I dreamed of dancing like Christina Aguilera in Burlesque, but I was told I didn’t have the “right” body type, so that dream faded for a while. After moving to Laramie, I attended my first live burlesque show, and everything changed. Seeing performers of all shapes, sizes, and styles on stage reignited my passion and showed me that art and confidence belong to everyone.

Since then, I’ve jumped at every opportunity to perform or volunteer in shows, celebrating self-expression and inclusivity along the way.

Now, as a new mom, I’m rebuilding my own body confidence and hope to remind others that every body is beautiful, no matter how it changes. I’m also working on creating family-friendly performance groups under the Meadowlark Performing Arts umbrella, because I know firsthand how hard it can be to attend events with kids and feel welcome. My goal is to help change that here in the Laramie area.
